WATPECO Honored at Sierra Leone Humanitarian Service Awards 2025

The West Africa Tourism Peace and Economic Integration Organization (WATPECO) has been awarded a prestigious honor at the Sierra Leone Humanitarian Service Awards 2025, in recognition of its impactful work in sustainable development, humanitarian services, charitable outreach, and advocacy for the vulnerable across West Africa.

The award, presented by African CEO Media Corp, was conferred during a high-profile ceremony held in Freetown on Friday, 25th April 2025. Representing the organization at the event was Jr. David Tucker, Program Coordinator of WATPECO, who received the award on behalf of the entire team.

Following the national ceremony, the award was officially presented to WATPECO’s Volunteer CEO, Hon. Dr. Memunatu Pratt, at the organization’s headquarters. In her remarks, Dr. Pratt expressed heartfelt gratitude to African CEO Media Corp for recognizing WATPECO’s ongoing partnership and collaborative contributions. She reaffirmed the organization’s unwavering commitment to promoting peace, unity, and sustainable growth throughout the West African sub region.

Also in attendance at the award presentation were Mr. Kallie, Financial Secretary, and Sahr Amadu Komba, Media Volunteer. This milestone not only celebrates WATPECO’s achievements but also strengthens its resolve to uplift communities, empower individuals, and foster integration and development across the region.
